After completing formal education David spent time working with Clive and Bryn at the family funeral home before undertaking an internship at Frederick Paine Funeral Directors, in Kingston upon Thames, London. For 12 months David worked at Frederick Paine Funeral Directors where he gained a wealth of knowledge and experience that would bode him well for the future. On his return to the family firm David went on to study for his diploma in funeral directing and also became a qualified memorial mason and later, a memorial inspector.
In 1994 V A Peterson Funeral Service bought and renovated Hook Funeral Service in Griffithstown. David moved into the funeral home and assisted in modernising and developing the building.
David has been a loyal member of Pontypool Round table, taking part in many charity events, including Pontypool fireworks display and abseiling down Newport’s transporter bridge!
Nowadays David prefers to take things steady but thoroughly enjoys exercising and socialising with friends.
